Our commitment to you and
your business

Understanding your business
We believe that in order to work effectively with you we must have a thorough understanding of what you do and how you operate. Before starting work with you we will devote time and resource to gain that understanding and, through day-to-day contact, we will keep up-to-date. From time-to-time we will contact you to discuss current conditions and concerns you may have. Gaining and maintaining that understanding is an investment we make in you and your business as a valued client.

Fair, transparent charges
Our charges are based on the time we spend working for you and the level of expertise required. We accurately record time spent working for you, with no rounding up. Our hourly rates will always reflect the level of expertise required for the specific task in hand. If we see an opportunity to save you money and reduce our charge we will tell you. We will provide you with a quotation before starting work and, when charging you, our invoice will detail the work done so you know exactly what you are paying for. If you wish to spread your costs, we will agree terms that suit your needs. At all times our aim will be to deliver the best value for money we can.

professional, experienced and up-to-date
We are monitored and strictly governed by the standards of quality, ethics, objectivity and confidentiality of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Personnel are required to undertake an annual programme of professional training and, in addition, we maintain our own specific training programmes. We also work with a number of leading technical information and research providers to ensure that our advice to you will always be up-to-the-minute.

Clear, effective communication
An important aspect of our work is explaining and demystifying taxation and company law. In writing, over the telephone and face-to-face we will do all we can to simplify the technicalities and turn jargon into plain English. We will regularly provide relevant business news items, fact sheets and briefings to help you stay up-to-date. We will alert you to statutory deadlines and help you understand what is required in order to meet and comply with those deadlines.

A practical, proactive approach
We understand the demands and challenges of running a business and our aim will be to provide you with real-world advice and solutions that you can action. Where we see an opportunity or course of action that could be of potential advantage to you or your business we will set out the facts that will enable you to make a decision. When we undertake taxation, accounting and consultancy work for you we will actively seek opportunities within the rules to minimise your liability and maximise your advantage.
